The Terra Cultura team is thrilled to announce an upcoming evening dining experience on the farm, in collaboration with the Central Coast’s own Robbie Brown, known better in the culinary world as The Climate Foodie!

Hi Friends! The big day is coming up and we wanted to make sure you had the skinny. October 12th is Barnraiser Day—and there are two free events that day: one in the afternoon (at Terra Cultura) and one in the evening (at the Aromas Grange). You are invited to either, or both! Here are the details:

Work Party at Terra Cultura, 11am-3pm

The day time event is at Terra Cultura, your own educational eco-arts farm, and it’s a work party for all ages and abilities. From 11am to 3pm on Oct. 12 we’ll be working on several collaborative projects around the farm. Farm tours will take place at noon and 2pm. Drop by, jump in, and have some fun with us. This is your chance to see all the progress we’ve made on the farm over the past year. Bring a hat and sturdy shoes and we’ll provide the drinks and snacks. It’s free of course, but it’s helpful for us to get a head count, so register for the work party, if you please, by clicking this link HERE.

Evening Gala at the Aromas Grange, 6-9pm

In the evening, we get to celebrate you!—our community—and everything we’ve accomplished together so far. We want to thank you for the support, so we’re throwing a party at the Grange! There will be plenty of food and drinks, live music by two dazzling duos, a photo booth, and art for sale by bay area artists! The members of our Board of Directors have travelled from near and far to converge in Aromas for one stellar evening. You won’t want to miss it. Again, it’s all free, we just want to have enough food and drinks for everyone, so your registration is helpful. Register for the Evening Gala at this link HERE.

And I think that’s everything you need to know. If you have any questions though, you can always reach us at info@terracultura.org. We’re so excited to see your bright beautiful faces! Thank you for being the wonderful community that you are. Terra Cultura is yours, and we could not do any of it without you.

Farm to Table Dinner Pop-Up

Saturday, September 28th, 5pm – 7:30pm

Experience an evening meal that celebrates sustainability by using seasonal and plant-based ingredients, and cooking methods rooted in Japanese macrobiotic cuisine. The dinner will be hosted in our picturesque communal kitchen, encouraging conversation and connection. This reservation-only event is limited to just 12 guests, so secure your spot now!

The plant-based menu will feature locally grown vegetables, mushrooms, nuts, and sources of umami such as kombu, shio koji, and miso which are commonly found in Japanese ingredients. Each plate will include a serving of five distinct dishes, one soup, and a beverage. Please note that the cuisine will contain soy, gluten, sesame seeds, and nuts.
