Get outside and get your hands dirty while helping out on the farm! Stop by anytime between 10am and 2pm, and we’ll plug you into one of the various projcts we’ll be working on. No experience necessary, and all ages are welcome.
We are a working farm, so closed toed shoes are required. We recommend bringing water and a hat, and you’re welcome to pack a picnic lunch.
Join us for the second gathering of the Writers’ Group at Terra Cultura! We’ll explore some wacky, wonderful prompts to fuel expression and experimentation. Enjoy wine and snacks in Terra Cultura’s cozy yurt and prepare to push your creativity. This is a supportive environment for all experience levels, and all are welcome! Bring your imagination and favorite writing implements.
Registration required, space is limited. Please be conscientious and only register if you intend on attending. Please let us know if your plans change, so we can make your spot available to others.
Learn how to make natural tinctures with locally grown herbs! We’ll be working with lavendar, rosemary, and yarrow, and learning about their many beneficial properties. We’ll be walking through every step of the process, from getting acquianted with the plants to harvesting, to preparing tinctures, to bottling. You’ll go home with the tincture we make together, as well as a yarrow tincture we’ll be bottling during the workshop. Be prepared to get a little artsy and creative with your herbal encounters during our foraging expedition.
Tickets for this event are offered on a sliding scale. When registering, please select the ticket which most closely aligns with your ability.
This class will be taught by Sasha Evangelista, a Santa Cruz-based herbalist and poet who combines her passion for creativity with her love of the natural world and its healing potential.
