Land Time!

Friends, we have some exciting news. It’s official. We are moving forward to close escrow on the Cole Road property!! Thank you for following along with our series on the Great Land Quest. When the Hollister property fell through, we became full-time land questing machines, and finally circled back around to make an offer on a property we fell in love with almost a year ago. It has been an arduous, inspiring, exciting, and enlightening journey, during which we felt your outpouring of support and encouragement the whole way. So thank you, and thank you for enduring our emotional extremes, and bouts of silence, as we delved deep into all sorts of research and revelations.

We are so excited to have finally found the right farmland/homeplace, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Now that Terra Cultura has a beautiful place to call home, we can roll up our sleeves and dive into the real work ahead. We can’t wait.

So, here it is! Meet the Cole Road property in Aromas, California! She’s 5.65 acres that covers both sides of a gentle slope. You can see the southwest facing slope below, with the driveway and old rabbit hutches, followed by some shots of the stellar views to Big Sur in one direction, and Fremont Peak in the other. Our good friend and board member, Nathan Kosta, captured these great photos with the aid of his new drone.

Stay tuned for many more adventures on the land to come. For now, we just wanted to make the introductions between you and this beautiful slice of earth; we can’t wait to welcome you there:
