We’re just a few days away from the end of Terra Cultura’s first year, and what a year it has been! From celebrating our kickoff with you at our San Diego Plant the Seed Event in June to dancing the night away with friends new and old at the Benefit Concert in Oakland, from teaching kids how to plant and care for California wildflowers to helping professionals tap into their creative side, we’ve had an incredible time watching this community flourish. We are so grateful that you are a part of it, and we’re amazed by what we’ve accomplished!

As supporters of Terra Cultura, we wanted to take a minute to acknowledge all that you’ve done to help us put our roots in the ground this year. Over the past 12 months, you have helped us raise nearly $200,000! We’ve received support from over 100 of you, and have received grants from foundations like LUSH Charity PotClif Bar Family Foundation, and Leichtag Foundation. These funds will allow us to establish our teaching farm and studio spaces, build classrooms and residences, and continue to cultivate resilient communities empowered through education and collaboration in agroecology, sustainable living and the arts. We’re blown away by your generosity, encouragement, and support. We’re endlessly appreciative of the time you’ve taken to share your expertise with us. Your ideas, guidance, and enthusiasm have been invaluable.

We can’t wait to dive into the next year, and begin getting our hands dirty as we start creating a physical home for this community we’ve just begun to build. We look forward to continuing to work with you to cultivate a brighter future.

Warmest wishes for the New Year to all of you!
